Nader May Run After All

Let us pray this not true.

I've seen this before and I don't buy it. If he runs, the Left will make his life a living hell, and this time he won't have the Green Party organization and the throngs of adoring college kids behind him. Anyway, I don't think his heart is in it this time. I saw Nader on C-SPAN not too long ago and the rationale for his candidacy is piss poor--supposedly Bush would be more vulnerable to a "2-pronged attack".

But since this is Nader we're talking about I'm not going to bet either way. Maybe he doesn't like Kerry. In any case it isn't anything to worry about. Nader won't get more than a half point if he runs.

I agree, but the Democrats need every half-point they can get if they're going to win.

Nader really, REALLY needs to stay the hell out of this election. Kerry is going to have his hands full enough with all the crap that the Bush administration is about to throw his way without having to worry about a leftist yahoo pulling votes away from him. Nader is nothing more than a distraction from the real objective-get Bush out of office. Pray for the college kids whose attention the left so dearly needs to hold on to. Please Ralph let go; you don't have a chance..... let go.

Nader is in as an independent (as of 22 Feb).
