London Booted

On the heels of the Grey Album comes a mash-up of The Clash. They're asking that you donate money to one of the charities they link to in exchange for the download.

Wow,
These songs are really bad.
I would donate to charities if they would not make these available to the public.
Some of these tunes remind me when of when I first heard the dance remix of Teen Spirt.
There are some exceptions and even these are bad. Save yourself the disk space and time.

I've been listening to them this morning myself. Some of them aren't *so* bad, but nothing really stands out. One thing that really did though was the fact that these aren't reworked Clash songs. They're other songs with Clash samples in the background. Not quite the same thing.

Nobody said they were reworked Clash songs. If you want that go and get the London's Burning tribute. These are inspired by, influenced by, mixed using and generally coupled with a different vocal a la the traditional bootleg.

This is a really stupid comment - I hope most people have been honest, even if you didn't donate before you downloaded, I hope anyone who has enjoyed the CD has donated in retrospect. If you didn't enjoy it, then that's fair enough...but don't use the freely accessible URLs as an excuse.
