TV Makes You Grow Breasts

Yet another reason to not let kids watch television:

Children who watch a lot of television produce less melatonin, new research suggests - the "sleep hormone" has been linked to timing of puberty.

As a result:

“Girls are reaching puberty much earlier than in the 1950s. One reason is due to their average increase in weight; but another may be due to reduced levels of melatonin,” suggests Roberto Salti, who led the study. “Animal studies have shown that low melatonin levels have an important role in promoting an early onset of puberty.”

Did you say another reason to not let kids watch television? What's wrong with you? Nubile breasts are among god's proudest creations. Formative though they are, they eventually develop into seventeen-year old wagglies, and then they are allowed into my den for a sip of scotch and a valuable life lesson.

I'm glad to see you're fully conversant with the age of consent in Texas. Still, methinks you've read "Lolita" one too many times... that, or you've been watching "My Father, The Hero"...

Yeah Dave, fat, underage titties. After you, I insist.

How dare you.

(Incidentally, I was going to write a satirical post in the style of HH, with the URL to point to the Atlantic Monthly's 1958 review of the novel, but this Naziesque website wouldn't allow me to post anything with "l*lita.htm" in it.)

Down with censorship! Up with spammers and the like!

Odd that the comments blacklist allowed me to post something with the word "Lolita" in it, then. I should probably turn off the comments blacklist now that I've found an alternate and apparently more effective method to prevent comments spam.

Evidently "lolita" is okay, but "l*lit*.com" or "l*lit*.htm" is more likely to be a pornspammer or one of my relatives or somesuch.

(the technology is evolving. this time, for some reason, i had to asterisk out two vowels...)

Ok, I've disabled MT-Blacklist since I haven't seen even one attempt at comments spam since I made my last changes, but I have seen legitimate comments get blocked twice now. Hopefully I haven't just called down the fury of the Spammers. Feel free to post all you want about Lolitas now.
