Wet Wipes

Hello,
Will Mike will be with out a internet connection for a while, so I figured that I can finally post some goofy shit with out him telling me that my post are going to be deleted. So yeah the content is about to get kinda low brow for a bit.
First thing I wanted to discuss is wet wipes. Mike and his Wife Danni have been goofing on me since I went to the grocery store with them and purchased some Sesame Street Wet Wipes.
I explained to them that when you drink from time to time and eat spicy food, Mudd Butt happens. And I like to make sure that am clean down there. They still mocked me and my hygiene. They really laughed when I told them that I use them at work. My defense is that I don't like walking around with a dirty ass. I went to school with this kid and he smelt like 10 day old dirty ass. People goofed on him all the time. My Mom banned him from coming in to our house. I think that it was knowing that kid that made me very paranoid about my own smell.
So I was just wanting to see how many people out there use them? And if you don't give it a try. Give a try for a week and come back and let me know how you like it.

808,

I don't know you as I believe most of the other Nomads do so perhaps it is not my place to make a critical comment. And there is even a part of me that admires you irreverence. But all in all, this is not only an immature post but it is pretty disgusting. I realize that this is not the first time for there to be disgusting and immature content on the Internet. But the problem, as I see it, is that this is a group blog and there are some contributors who have made a real effort to post some thoughtful and insightful reflections here (as a rare contributor I don't count myself among this group). Of course most of the readers and commentators are people who already know each other but I think some of the contributors here would like to see the blog develop at least a small outside audience. This type of post reflects badly on all of them and on the site as a whole. Those who happened to visit are likely to be turned off and never return. Perhaps it's not my place to say this and perhaps I am taking the blog a little too seriously. I am all for well-done bathroom humor but this wasn't even really funny. Perhaps you would consider removing the post at least until Mike returns. For all I know he may find it entirely appropriate.

Great post.

piraeus,
The post was not supposed to be funny or disgusting or anything like that. I am just thought that it would be kind of different than what’s usually posted here. Mike does know of my intentions and suggested that I write a post about it.
As for your point of it not being a insightful reflection than what would be? I think that differs from person to person. Cal Ulmann seemed to like it.
And after going to your Blog and seeing your post entitled
"neither shameful nor dishonorable" which was posted Friday, July 30,2004. I don’t see how you can say that my post on Wet Wipes is disgusting compared to the pictures you have posted there.
I think you are taking bloging to seriously.
These are just my thoughts that I posted and I thought that this blog was about that Friends posting what is on the top of there head. Maybe I should just post more content on politics cause you know you can’t find enough of that on the net.

Peace,
Manuel Hernandez

MH 808,

War photos are disgusting. Aborted baby photos are disgusting. German death camp photos are disgusting. And yes, mud-butt wet-wipe meditations are disgusting.

Perhaps Piraeus was wrong to single your post out for being disgusting; you have a point. If you look at the list of four disgusting things above, I am sure you'll see some sort of difference between the latter and the three former. I think it is that difference Piraeus was criticizing.
