Last (and only) final last night. No more thinking for a month!
One more paper to finish today, then some grad applications, then a Japanese final on the 15th that I promised myself I wouldn't even study for. Almost there.
Not to be difficult, but "Je suis fini" means, "I am dead". J'ai fini means I am finished. Did you make a mistake or did you mean to say that grad school is totally killing you? I hope it was just a mistake.
It seems I made a mistake because grad school is killing me. I wasn't aware of the distinction between the two. Thanks.
My pleasure. I had the difference explained to me at length, with appropriate gestures of horror, while working in a kitchen one summer in Brittany.
